Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Lúmina: Islas de Ingenio (“Lúmina”) may process, why it is used, which providers are involved, and the choices available to users.

1. Data Lúmina may process

• Optional account: if a user creates an account with email, the email address and a technical user identifier provided by Firebase Authentication are processed.
• Game progress: if cloud saving is used, data needed to restore progress may be stored, such as levels, progression, rewards, settings, or equivalent game state.
• Purchases: in-app purchases are processed by Google Play. Lúmina may receive technical information required to verify purchase status or entitlement. Lúmina does not receive full payment-card details.
• Advertising and device data: when Google AdMob services are used, Google and its partners may process device information, identifiers, IP address, technical data, and ad interaction data depending on region, privacy choices, and applicable ad settings.
• Consent preferences: Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may manage and store privacy choices needed to determine how ads may be requested or shown.

2. Purposes

• Create and maintain the optional account.
• Synchronize and restore cloud progress.
• Verify and restore Google Play purchases.
• Show advertising, including optional rewarded ads, when available and permitted.
• Manage privacy and advertising consent preferences.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Lúmina does not sell users' personal data.

3. Service providers

• Firebase Authentication — optional account authentication.
• Cloud Firestore — cloud storage and synchronization of game data.
• Google Play — app distribution and purchase processing/verification.
• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads — advertising services.
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — privacy messaging and choices related to advertising.

4. Consent and ad preferences

Where required by applicable law, Lúmina will request privacy choices through UMP before certain advertising processing takes place. Users can accept, reject, or manage the options presented in the message.

When UMP indicates that an ongoing privacy-options entry point is required, Lúmina will provide an Ad preferences or equivalent entry in the application's privacy settings.

5. Retention

Account and cloud-progress data are retained while needed to provide those features or until deletion is requested, unless specific information must be kept longer to comply with legal obligations. Data handled directly by Google is retained according to the policies and retention periods applicable to its services.

Delete account and data

Deleting the Lúmina account does not necessarily delete purchase records retained by Google Play where Google must preserve them for legal, accounting, security, or platform-operation reasons.

7. Privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent. Requests can be sent to mekiva.software@gmail.com.

8. Security and international processing

Services used by Lúmina apply technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. Some providers may process information outside the user's country; where this occurs, transfer and protection mechanisms provided by the service and applicable law will apply.

9. Children

Where the application is used by children, its use and data processing will follow the age requirements, target-audience declarations in Google Play, and applicable rules. A parent or legal guardian may contact MEKIVA for information or to exercise rights concerning a child's data.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated when Lúmina's features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date of the current version appears at the top of this page.
